What we collect and why
When you ask for a free roof inspection on this website, the form asks for:
- Your name and mobile number
- Your email address, if you choose to give it
- Your suburb
- The service you need and what is happening with your roof
We use these details only to reply to you, arrange the inspection and give you a quote. We do not use them for marketing unless you ask us to keep in touch.
The form does not send anything to this website. When you press Continue to WhatsApp, WhatsApp opens on your phone or computer with your message filled in. Nothing reaches us until you press send in WhatsApp, and you can change or delete the message before you do.
If you phone, WhatsApp or email us directly, we receive whatever you choose to share, such as photos of the problem.
Who sees your details
Only the Rebel Roofing team members who handle your enquiry and your job. We do not sell your details or give them to anyone for marketing.
WhatsApp messages travel through WhatsApp, which Meta runs under its own privacy policy. Emails travel through our email provider.
What this website records
- This website does not use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers.
- The site is hosted by Vercel, which keeps standard server logs (such as your IP address, the page you asked for and your browser type) to run the site and keep it secure.
- The fonts load from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google when a page opens.
- The About page remembers which review it showed you, so you see a different one next time. This is kept in your own browser for the current visit only and is cleared when you close the tab.
How long we keep it
We keep your details only for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry or your job, and for any records the law requires us to keep. After that we delete them.
Your rights
Under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) you can:
- Ask us what personal information we hold about you
- Ask us to correct it or delete it
- Object to us using it, or withdraw your consent
- Ask us to stop contacting you
